The funeral service is needed to properly transport deceased persons from the incident site.
The alerting procedure differs depending on whether you are playing with or without a dispatch center.

If you want to know how to use the funeral service, start reading from point 3.
If you play without a dispatch center, there are two options: either call the funeral service as described in point 1 or use the alarm menu to call it yourself.
You must right-click on a deceased person with an emergency doctor.

Then you can position the funeral service vehicle nearby.
When the funeral service arrives on site, you have to right-click to make the driver get out.

Next, select the funeral service worker and right-click the corpse.

Once the corpse has been loaded by the funeral service, send the vehicle home using the HQ button. The rest is handled automatically by the game.
