With this update, we’re bringing new features, improvements, and bug fixes to the EM One Mod to provide you with an even more realistic and stable gameplay experience. We’d like to thank you for your feedback, which has directly contributed to the development, and we’re excited to share the latest changes with you. Below you’ll find all the details for the current version. All customizations / features concerning the plugins are provided by Digital195.

Foreword to Version 2.0.0

Version 2.0.0 marks the beginning of a new era for Emergency One. Following the recent split of the original Lüdenscheid team, our project is now continuing with a fresh focus. Starting with this version, our mod includes the maps Brandstedt (BST) as well as the updated version of Linzing (LNZ). All features / bugfixes for the plugins were made by Digital195 from the LDS team.

We would like to thank everyone who has accompanied and supported us so far. Your feedback, motivation, and commitment mean a lot to us.

Another important thing for us is that this is the first version of Emergency One. We have adapted everything as best we could. Please bear with us if there is still an old logo somewhere or an error occurs. Please post bugs / problems in the appropriate forum.

We look forward to everything that lies ahead – together with you.

By selecting any police officer, people can now be "grabbed." By right-clicking on the icon, the police officer will stop the person.
This is what it would look like. To release the person, press the "Release Person" icon again.

GUI:

Events / Features:

1) New event added: "World War II bomb found" (Feature by Digital195):
A blue circle appears on the minimap. This circle indicates the radius within which people can be evacuated. If the World War II bomb detonates, this is also the approximate blast radius.

As marked in red above, people can be evacuated, but this is not mandatory.
People with this icon above their head can be evacuated from the area. They will be injured if the bomb detonates.

Witnesses will leave the evacuation area on their own after being questioned. The World War II bomb must be defused by the bomb squad (MARTHA 73-01 USBV vehicle). If this succeeds, the bomb must be removed. If the World War II bomb detonates, all fires must be extinguished and the injured must be rescued.
People can be evacuated by "grabbing" them, → see point 1. Otherwise, police officers equipped with a megaphone can be used to clear the danger area. It is important to make sure that no other people enter the evacuation radius (sidewalk, etc.). The entering can also be prevented by using a police megaphone. Deploying units from the riot police battalion (50/01/02/03/04 , 52/01) is recommended here.
These missions are prototypes and thus will receive further options.
The public announcements from Crew Vehicles have no effect on the evacuation.

2) Adjusted the "Defective Elevator" event: Reduced the number of firefighters required (4 to 2).
3) Numerous new scenarios added to existing events.
4) Over 20 bug fixes for existing missions.
5) First "in-house" missions implemented as prototypes.
6) New logic implemented for Modular Event: Car battery. These can be disconnected by a firefighter (axe). If you don't, the vehicle may catch fire (optional task) (Feature by Digital195)
7) Police units now pack up deployed equipment (e.g. cones) when returning to base. (hold Shift + E to leave everything behind) (Feature by Digital195)
8) New command to select "free"/unoccupied firefighters with the squad leader (Feature by Digital195)
9) New "Clean Up All" button for all vehicles (above the vehicle image in the GUI) (Feature by Digital195)
10) Police officers are now required to accompany criminals to the hospital (logic for Doctor ad police escort completely revised) (Feature by Digital195)
11) New audio for the Disturbance of Peace event.

Maps / Fleet:

General:
1) New missions added
2) Over 120 map bugs fixed
3) Waiting times at the hospital on-map significantly increased (60 seconds --> 240 seconds)
4) Waiting times at the hospital off-map significantly increased (240 seconds --> 600 seconds)
5) New animation for Zirkon (blue lights on patrol cars)
6) New sirens for Vehicles added (thanks a lot to @Firefighter1790)

Brandstedt General:
1) Various changes to sirens (every vehicle intended for them should now have compressed air + electric horn)
2) Added Brandstedt Volunteer Fire dept. 23 Seedorf traffic light (there should no longer be problems when dispatching)
3) Adjusted event pool
4) Underground garages are now flammable
5) Added automatic fire alarm systems (every larger building should now have an automatic fire alarm system)
6) Adjusted hospital beds (fewer for Charité, more for trauma clinic)
7) External hospital locations Revised (Langenfeld now bottom left; Hellersen Sports Clinic removed)
8) Map expanded by 1/3 (final expansion; map now complete):
a. Old train station demolished (--> "Brandstedt Cathedral" now with PD02)
b. New train station built (--> Hamburg Quarter; with PD04)
c. Snow area permanently added (northeast) including animated gondolas
d. New motorway in the southeast of the map (station 24)
e. Renovations in the city center area (formerly PD02 --> sports park & scrap yard)

Functions and effects of the various setting options:

1) Disconnect Battery: For traffic accidents, the battery must be disconnected on vehicles that are not burning (using the axe) & proper fire protection must be set up.
2) Faster Patient Transport --> If an ambulance picks up a patient, the mission is immediately marked as completed. The ambulance still drives to the hospital as usual.
3) Faster Towing --> Same here: Tow trucks pick up cars, mission ends immediately. Tow trucks still drive to the impound lot.
4) Faster Police Transport --> Same here: Suspects are loaded into the vehicle, mission ends immediately. Police car still drives to the station.
5) Faster burial (Same here.)
6) "Fog of Fire Mode": The scene of the incident is only revealed when the first vehicle is reached.
a. "Always" = for every incident from EM One (EM2017 or similar excluded)
b. "Random" = 50/50% chance that FOF mode will be activated.
c. "Never" = setting is deactivated.
7) "Activation of Sirens" (Vehicles): Changes how sirens activate. The siren automatically turns off shortly before arrival. At night, the siren sounds only at major intersections. Warning: this setting reduces performance!
8) "Rescue Service Warnings": When active, various announcements are made for patients requiring emergency doctors, including helicopter dispatch calls. Examples include: “(audible ping) An emergency doctor is required for transport” and “An emergency doctor is required for treatment,” etc.
